Disclaimer
Sylvan Deckboxes are hand crafted with natural materials such as hardwood and genuine leather. Some minor imperfections may therefore be present due to the inherent variability that comes with natural materials and hand crafting.
The color of the box components (wood and leather) may naturally change over time.
Taking Care of Your Box
Even if hardwood and genuine leather are high-quality materials, taking care of your box is important if you want to keep it in good condition:
- Avoid large variations in temperature and humidity. The wood is protected by a hard finish that is water resistant but prolonged contact with water or high humidity may cause stains to appear. In extreme cases, the box could even warp slightly. Therefore, if your box comes in contact with a liquid, dry it as soon as possible.
- Avoid any friction with a rugged or sharp surface since it may mark the wood or leather.
- Avoid direct sunlight. Some species of wood may change color when exposed to it. The leather dye may also change color under these conditions.
- If your box and/or lid needs to be cleaned, use a damp and clean cloth.
- The leather lid and tray may be treated with a soft leather cream to nourish, hydrate and preserve their supple qualities.

All boxes are shipped via the least expensive courier available at the time of shipping.

Warranty and Returns
At Sylvan Deckbox we value durability and quality. Your box is therefore guaranteed against manufacturing defects. When you receive your box, if it has an apparent defect, we will exchange it with a box of an equivalent value free of charge.
If you no longer need your box, change your mind, or are not satisfied with its performance, we can proceed to a replacement or refund on request. We must be notified of the issue within 30 days of receipt of your box and must also receive the box in original or resalable condition. In those cases, shipping the product back to us will be at your charge. Past that point, refunds, exchanges or returns are unavailable.
